Print MIS Software for Digital Printers
Digital print businesses handle high volumes of short-run jobs, fast turnarounds, and customers who increasingly expect to order online and track their work without picking up the phone. Printlogic manages the full workflow for digital printers - from online order intake through production tracking and invoicing - with a Web2Print portal included in the standard subscription. Jobs come in through the portal, flow into the production queue automatically, and invoice when complete. No manual order entry for repeat work. No re-keying between systems.
How digital printers use Printlogic
-
Step 1 - Online ordering and quoting
Printlogic's Web2Print portal gives digital print customers a branded online ordering experience. They place orders, upload artwork, and approve proofs without contacting the print team. Pricing is calculated automatically based on configured product options and price lists. Orders flow directly into Printlogic as live jobs.
-
Step 2 - Short-run pricing and price lists
Digital print jobs follow predictable pricing structures. Printlogic stores price lists per product, per customer, or per volume band. Repeat clients order from their established pricing without a quote being raised each time. New jobs use the price list calculator or a manual estimate.
-
Step 3 - Production queue management
Every job - whether it came in through the Web2Print portal or was entered manually - sits in the same production queue. Jobs are visible by deadline, by press, or by status. Production staff work through the queue in order. Nothing is tracked on a separate job sheet or whiteboard.
-
Step 4 - Proof approval
Proofs are issued to clients through the system and approved online. Approval status is recorded against the job. Production does not proceed until approval is confirmed. The approval record is stored permanently against the job.
-
Step 5 - Invoicing
Completed jobs invoice individually or in bulk. High-volume digital print businesses use bulk invoicing to process a full day's completed work in one action rather than raising invoices one by one.
Web2Print portal included - customers place orders, upload artwork, and approve proofs online; orders flow directly into Printlogic without manual entry
Price lists and product configuration - set fixed pricing per product or per customer; repeat orders process without a new quote each time
Bulk invoicing - invoice all completed jobs from a selected period in one action; suited to high-volume digital print output
Proof management - proofs issued and approved inside the system; approval status recorded permanently against the job
Live production queue - every job visible in real time by deadline and status; no separate job tracking sheet
How it connects
For digital printers, the Web2Print portal and the MIS are the same system - not two tools connected by an integration. An order placed online at 11pm is in the production queue when the team arrives in the morning, fully specified, artwork attached, proof status recorded. The whole cycle - order, proof, produce, invoice - runs inside Printlogic without any manual transfer of information between systems.
Already running another system? We import your data.
When you switch to Printlogic, your existing order history, customer records, job data, and pricing come with you. Data migration is included as part of onboarding - you don't start from scratch regardless of how long you've been running your current system.
